The series can be offered in a tightly sequential 3-4 week timeframe (e.g. in a university January or summer session) or can be spread out over a period of 6 months, with intervening project assignments to keep students engaged (for example, in an after-school program). We are also able to design custom configurations as needed.

Explore Our Approach

EnCube Labs makes education more exciting, imparts skills for the future, and improves employability for students of every age, everywhere. We do this through our proven approach combining design thinking, product design, maker skills and building resilience through failure.
Entrepreneurship skills are important because they offer anyone, regardless of prior training, a path toward individual economic independence, as well as toward economic development for the community.
EnCube Labs offers in-person teaching to groups of 10-50 participants in a “lab” setting (classroom with worktables, laptops, plus room for 3D printers and other tools/equipment).

Our program consists of three progressive teaching modules that may be delivered individually or in series:

  • Our MakerFest (2.5 days) is the starting place, often delivered on a weekend
  • Weeklong Innovator and Entrepreneur programs follow in a stepwise fashion to create a longer program that can combine all three modules.
  • The series can be offered in a tightly sequential 3-4 week timeframe (e.g. in a university January or summer session) or can be spread out over a period of 6 months, with intervening project assignments to keep students engaged (for example, in an after-school program).
  • We are also able to design custom configurations as needed.
